The artist lives and works in Izmir. Cemal Nazım Arslan graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Painting Department. He completed his graduate education in the Art and Design Department of the same school. He continues his education at Anadolu University, Department of Philosophy.
Cemal Nazım Arslan focuses on nature in his works. He is a multidisciplinary artist who abstracts images of nature, cultural identities, and searches for various forms. His works create emotions that identify the developing and renewed thoughts brought by the contemporary world with nature. He usually depicts nature without humans. The artist displays a spiritual and self-directed perspective by designing a dramatic atmosphere with the use of light and dark colors in his works.
